The Birth Confirmation {The Precious Life Advent}

Alhamdullilahi Rabil Allameen!

All praises and glory to Almighty Allah, the Lord of Heavens and the Earth. He made my birth a glorifying and amazing one.

Years ago, a precious child was born into the noble and enormous family of Chief Salis Omobaanu (The Akinrogun of Ilupeju Oke-Odo, Abeokuta). It was on a remarkable Sunday morning at about 4am on the 18th of September, that a prodigious child (a bouncing baby boy) arrived. Let the bird of passage tell the whole world that a conspicuous child was born.

Congratulating to my fond Mum, Mrs. Rukoyah Apinke daughter of Shorunke, and lovely Dad, Chief Atanda Salis son of Omobaanu, for the successful accomplishment of bringing my humanity to the universe, under the creation of Almighty ALLAH (S.W.A.)

The naming ceremony that accompanied my birth was deem in the progressive changes and laudable achievements made in Salis’s family at the period of my birth. Indeed it was a New Dawn in the colossal family as there are lots of stories to tell. To grace these fortunes, my Dad named me YUSUF been given birth to in an Islamic home. Many great names were attached to my humanity as YUSUF, AKOLAWOLE, ABAYOMI, ADISA, AMUDANI, OJUKOTIMI,…….son of Salis.

The Letter "E" - implying Eligible is a title I got from my secondary school colleagues due to my proclaimed sound academic prowess and amazing use of English vocabularies. I represented my secondary school (Comprehensive Academy, Lafenwa Abeokuta) in several competions; Quiz, Debate, Sports, Literary activities as miming to the beat etc. and won Golden Medals. In 2004, after a keenly contested Debate Competition organised by Naija Youths Foundation (NYF) amongst secondary school students in Ogun state, Kolawole emerged the BEST ACADEMIC/DEBATING STUDENT, worthy of the "ELIGIBLE", from where i coin "E-SKY"
